The Single Adults of the Sam Houston First Ward met on a Saturday night to discuss current preparedness - in the event of a disaster (hurricane, power-outage, floods...etc)!

Remember a disaster is not just caused by nature. An increase in energy usage (the month of August gets hot...lots of Air Conditioners running!!) can cause a surge and blow out the power source - make sure you have a plan - even if it means going to your Mom's house!
